Location was ideal. Not far from the tourist information, bus stop and supermarkets.
My flight was over 5 hours late arriving and was due in after the reception was closed. I was left clear instructions on how to collect my key and enter the hotel.
The room was comfortable,
Breakfast was a self service buffet with a wide variety of choice.
The tv in the room had wifi connection with a couple of english channels, access to YouTube and a couple of subscription channels if you have an account with them.
There was on street outside the hotel and parking nearby.

We stayed here for 2 night at the end of a 6 night stay in the Faroe Islands and by far our best accommodation by far.
the staff were very friendly, polite and talkative. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included in the price we paid and a great selection of food for Breakfast. Location is good we walked into town and a reasonable price taxi ride back.

Our stay was complicated by the ongoing strike which was having a significant effect, but people went out of their was to make our stay a success. Torshavn is not a great place for vegetarians with very limited choices, and unfortunately most restaurants had set menus with no a la carte. We went at the end of May, and as well as everything being shut on Sundays many bars were also shut on Monday and Tuesdays.

Small city, easy to walk around to get to places in the city, slippery in the winter, terrain is uphill and down hill sometimes but railings are everywhere. Really good restaurants like Aristova and Barbara.A lovely corner cafe and book store called Paname Supermarkets have nearly everything including GF breads.People are very friendly and help you if and when lost.Must visit the red houses!

It’s the town center of Faroe Islands.
It’s the town center of Faroe Islands. A charming town but not much to do. There are some good restaurants but the food was a bit on the pricy side, which is understandable considering they may be imported or flown from other places. Getting around the islands by car is fairly easy. It’s feasible to drive to the sightseeing spots on the map within a day, if no hiking is needed. One of my favorite cities (and I've travelled a lot).
One of my favorite cities (and I've travelled a lot). It's the biggest city in the Faroe islands, yet the feeling is different compared to any city in other countries. Peacefull, well maintained beautiful city where you can find everything you need . Lots of restaurants and bars around the harbour area, very easy to find orientate.

Lovely old town, cathedral with pretty garden and turf roves of parliament buildings. Can you find the ancient circle carved into the rock near the water. Good Tourist Info with loo. Lovely lunch in cafe set back from Main Street which also sold cheese. Toasted sourdough sandwich……very nice. Do visit National Art Gallery near cute wooded park with pond……if you can find it……best to ask!

The center of Tórshavn can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. The ferries to Nolsoy, Suðuroy and Sandoy are in close proximity. The holiday apartment is modernly furnished, including a kitchen with a dishwasher. A washing machine can also be used. The contact with the landlord was very pleasant and he was always helpful with questions. It was a pleasant place to get back to after an eventful day, exploring the Faroe Islands.

The place we can simply call home away from home during our stay of 26-29 Dec 2022. We actually arrived very early morning (3AM) instead of night due to flight delayed but the host was always in contact and there to help with any problem. Very convenience and close to everything within a short walk. We highly recommended this place, book it while you can! Thank you host! You and your company are wonderful people with great service mind. :)

Beeing able to make your own food is essential on the Faroe Islands since the food offer is limited, unless you don't mind living on pizza and burgers. The kitchen has stove and oven, freezers and fridges - even if the fridges have a strange smell. Useful kitchen-ware, water boiler and coffe maker. The beds were narrow, but ok comfortable. The communication prior to arrival was great, and picking up the keys was easy. The apartment had everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The location is on top of a hill/slope, not in central Torshavn. Since we had a car, it was perfect for us to be in that area! But if you don't have a car, it will be a 30 min walk to the city centre. I highly recommend this place.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had 2 rooms booked for our family. One room was in an older part of the hotel and was a bit smaller in size, and it had a smaller bathroom. The other room was in the newer part of the hotel and was quite a bit larger, and it had a larger bathroom. We were still comfortable and happy enough in the smaller room, though.

The location is excellent, close to the main coach station and on a local bus route, as well as being within walking distance of many sights of Torshavn. There is a small supermarket very close by with long opening hours. The WiFi was excellent as well. I had a great stay!

Alvur was friendly and responded immediately to any question; he also made sure I did not overpay. I cooled easily in the kitchen. I loved this place so booked one more night was the two I had planned. The walkable “downtown” part of Torshavn is 5 minutes by car.
