The breakfast was a feast too, with a large selection of dishes. As I have been staying there for Christmas and New Year's Eve, we got almost all the time treats from the Romanian cuisine, typical for the region. I was also impressed by the host's kindness, to offer us sweetbread and wine for Christmas (a loaf and a bottle to each traveler!) and the same for the New Year's Eve, when the wine was sparkling. Great hosts! The building is new, the elevator is working properly and the view is gorgeous. Very comfortable rooms too and kept clean daily.

Very good and cosy hotel, the only thing it was a little noisy as the room where we were as a door connected to the next room,where we could hear everything. The price for value is exceptional. The hosts were friendly and warm, they provided everything that we needed. The location is close to the historical centre. The city itself is very beautiful.

From the moment we parked at the hotel to the point we left we had a great experience at Hanu lu Moș Opinca. We enjoyed a magnificent view from the restaurant terrace and patio, beyond what we imagined it would be. With the orchard around us, Deva Castle in all its beauty against the horizon, the valley below, the mountains around, and the staff so attentive to our needs, it was the best place to stay at. The food we had in the restaurant was very tasty and the staff very helpful, and they've really made us want to go back one day.
