Bari was a surprise not what we expected, bigger and very clean city with lots to do. Attractively situated in the Old Town district of Bari, B&B Murex is situated 300 metres from Bari Cathedral, 1.3 km from Bari Central Train Station and 6.4 km from Bari Port. The property has city and quiet street views, and is 600 metres from Basilica San Nicola. The property is 2.5 km from Pane e Pomodoro Beach, and within 200 metres of the city centre. First of all, the service provided by the hosts was impeccable: So thorough, professional and helpful. One of them spoke excellent English and we had some great conversations with them during our stay. Second: The apartment and the rooms are very clean and have a nice mix of modern/ old. I really liked the interior and decorations. Made it feel cosy. Also, the bed was very good (to compare: we slept on a lot of hard matrasses during our road trip in Italy). Third: We were served a very good breakfast with many different options (even vegan) on the roof - terrace. We could pick what we wanted digitally when we arrived. One of the best breakfasts during our stay in Italy. Fourth: The location is really great for exploring the old city. The modern city is not too far away either. We would definitely recommend this place and come back again ourselves!
